Astralis Reportedly Benching HooXi and Ruggah in Major Roster Shakeup

Astralis is making moves. Big ones.

Reports indicate the legendary CS2 organization plans to bench both their in-game leader HooXi and head coach ruggah. This isn't a small tweak. This is a full reset of team leadership.

The HooXi Experiment

HooXi joined Astralis to fix their calling issues. The results have been mixed at best.

His fragging has never been his strength. That was the deal from the start. He was supposed to make everyone else better. The wins were supposed to follow.

They didn't. Not consistently enough.

The Coach Goes Too

Ruggah leaving alongside HooXi tells you something. Astralis isn't just blaming one person. They're changing the entire approach.

Finding a new head coach is one thing. Finding a better IGL? That's the real challenge. Good in-game leaders don't grow on trees. The ones who are available usually have reasons for being available.

What's Next for Astralis

This is a team that defined an era in CS. Four Majors. Countless trophies. The Astralis Era was real.

Now they're searching for an identity again. The core that won everything is gone. The replacements haven't worked. And now the replacements are getting replaced.

Whoever comes in next carries heavy expectations. Astralis fans remember what greatness looks like. They're tired of waiting to see it again.
