B8 and Heroic Qualify for IEM Beijing After Global Qualifier

Sixteen teams entered. Two survived. B8 and Heroic are heading to IEM Beijing.

The IEM Beijing Global Qualifier was brutal. Sixteen organizations fought for just two spots at November's main event. Most went home empty-handed.

B8 and Heroic came out on top. They'll join the rest of the field in China later this year.

What This Means

For B8, this is a statement. They've been grinding to prove they belong at top-tier events. A spot at IEM Beijing gives them that chance.

Heroic continues to stay relevant. After some roster shuffles in recent months, qualifying for a major event keeps them in the conversation.

Looking Ahead to November

IEM Beijing will feature some of the best CS2 teams in the world. B8 and Heroic earned their seats the hard way. Now they need to show they can compete once they get there.

The main event is set for November. The real test starts then.
