FACEIT Launches Machine Learning Anti-Cheat to Fight AI Cheats in Counter-Strike 2

The popular competitive platform is rolling out a new anti-cheat layer on August 5. It's called Human Input Detection. The system uses machine learning to spot the difference between human players and AI-powered cheats.

How It Works

Traditional anti-cheat software looks for known cheat programs. This new system is different. It watches how you play. It checks if your inputs look human or if they look like a bot.

AI cheats have become a real problem in Counter-Strike 2. They're harder to catch than old-school hacks. They can mimic human behavior. But they're not perfect. Machine learning can spot the patterns humans can't see.
