FUT Esports Beat World Number One Vitality at PGL Masters Bucharest

FUT Esports just pulled off one of the biggest upsets at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026.

They beat Vitality 2-1 in Round 3 of the group stage. Vitality came in as the world number one team. They had a winning streak going. FUT Esports ended it.

The Comeback

FUT Esports lost the opening map. Things looked rough. But they didn't fold. They took the next two maps and walked away with the win.

This is what makes Counter-Strike great. Rankings mean nothing when the server goes live. Any team can beat any team on the right day.

What This Means

Vitality is still a top team. One loss doesn't change that. But FUT Esports proved they belong at this level. They can hang with the best in the world.

The group stage continues in Bucharest. Keep an eye on FUT Esports. They're playing with confidence now.
