Nemiga Stuns FUT 2-0 to Reach PGL Masters Bucharest Semi-Finals

Nemiga just pulled off one of the best runs at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. They beat FUT 2-0 to reach the semi-finals.

It wasn't easy. On Nuke, Nemiga found themselves down 3-9. That's usually the end. Most teams don't come back from that deficit on one of CS2's most CT-sided maps.

Nemiga did it anyway.

KhaN and Xant3r stepped up when it mattered. They dragged their team back into the series. Then they closed it out on the second map to complete the sweep.

This is a fairytale run for the squad. They've beaten expectations at every turn. Now they're four wins away from a trophy.

For FUT, it's a brutal exit. They had control on Nuke. They let it slip. Tournament life is unforgiving like that.

The loss also has roster implications beyond Bucharest. FUT's elimination may affect player availability for the upcoming Major, with reports suggesting it could keep cmtry on FUT's roster under Valve's substitution rules.

That's a problem for Astralis. They were reportedly eyeing cmtry. Now they may need to look elsewhere. The current expectation is that jabbi will play for Astralis in Singapore instead.

Nothing is confirmed yet. But Nemiga's win just created ripple effects across the scene.

Semi-finals are up next. Nemiga proved they belong. Now they need to prove they can finish the job.
