Shotzzy Drops 655 Kills as OpTic Gaming Wins Back-to-Back EWC CoD Titles

OpTic Gaming is back on top. Again.

Anthony "Shotzzy" Cuevas-Castro led the Green Wall to their second straight Call of Duty title at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris. He dropped 655 kills along the way.

Shotzzy's Dominant Performance

655 kills over a tournament is absurd. Shotzzy was everywhere. He fragged out in crucial moments. He came up clutch when OpTic needed him most.

This is why he's considered one of the best in the world.

Back-to-Back Champions

Defending a title is harder than winning one. Everyone studies your gameplay. Teams prepare specifically for you. OpTic didn't care.

They ran it back and won again.

The dynasty talk is real now. Two EWC titles in a row puts OpTic Gaming in rare company.

Paris Delivers Big Moments

The Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris gave Call of Duty fans exactly what they wanted. High-level competition. Storylines. And a dominant champion.

Shotzzy and OpTic delivered.
