TYLOO Will Miss PGL Major Singapore After Forfeiting HyperX Retake Match

TYLOO made a choice. It cost them a Major.

The Chinese squad forfeited their HyperX Retake quarter-final match. They wanted to travel to IEM Beijing instead. Now they're watching Lynn Vision take their spot at the PGL Major Singapore.

The Gamble That Backfired

Teams face scheduling conflicts all the time. It's part of the grind. But you don't forfeit a match that decides your Major qualification. TYLOO did exactly that.

The VRS standings have shifted. Lynn Vision moves into the PGL Major Singapore spot. TYLOO is out.

Was IEM Beijing Worth It?

That's the question. IEM Beijing is a big event. Home crowd. Good prize money. But the Major is the Major. It's the biggest stage in Counter-Strike.

TYLOO's decision raised eyebrows across the scene. Prioritizing a regional event over Major qualification is a bold call. Most would say it's the wrong one.

Lynn Vision Gets the Spot

Lynn Vision benefits from TYLOO's miscalculation. They'll compete at the PGL Major Singapore. It's a huge opportunity for the roster.

For TYLOO, it's a long wait until the next Major cycle. They'll have time to think about this one.
